What Printwright is

Printwright is a marketplace where designers sell print licenses for 3D models and buyers — human or software agent — pay per license over the x402 protocol on Hedera. Printwright is not a party to the license between designer and buyer; the license terms are the versioned documents linked from every offer.

Designers

• You warrant, at publish time, that each model is your own work or work you are licensed to sell, and that it prints as described. The warranty acceptance is recorded.
• You set prices; the marketplace retains a 10% platform fee per sale (the split is recorded in an immutable ledger and visible on your statement).
• Printwright receives each buyer payment in its treasury as marketplace merchant of record. After delivery, your 90% share is queued to your verified Hedera payout destination. If the destination is not ready or a transfer cannot complete, that share remains owed in treasury until it can be paid.

Buyers

• A purchase buys a licence — the file plus the grant in the offer's licence text. The holder's proof bundle, checked against its opaque HCS commitment, is portable evidence of that grant.
• All sales are final. Payments are on-chain and irreversible, and availability is decided before a payment is ever accepted — an offer that cannot issue a license never charges you. Delivery is always recoverable: re-present your signed payment or use your receipt to collect the files at any time.
• A pending, held, or failed designer payout does not revoke or delay the buyer's delivered license, receipt, certificate, or entitled download.

The marketplace

• We may remove content that violates rights — see the takedown process.
• Testnet only: everything here settles in testnet tokens with no monetary value.
• The service is provided as-is; our liability is capped at fees we actually received from you in the preceding 12 months.
